Animal Equality is an organisation near & dear to my heart. Their vision & mission statement is as follows:
Animal Equality’s vision is a world in which all animals are respected and protected.
Animal Equality is an international organization working with society, governments, and companies to end cruelty to farmed animals.
They encourage consumers to look at WHO their meat actually is- a living, sentient being who deserves to be treated with compassion.
They educate the public on the horrific mistreatment of these animals & promote a healthier vegetarian & vegan lifestyle: for the environment, their health & most importantly, the animals.
